Warranties
Every product sold or rented by our company carries at least a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Liberty Wheels will notify all Medicare beneficiaries of the warranty coverage, and we will honor all warranties under applicable law. Liberty Wheels will honor all warranties for Medicare recipients as described in the manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, an owner’s manual with warranty information will be provided to beneficiaries for all durable medical equipment where this manual is available.
Two Year Extended Service Contract
Liberty Wheels is proud to offer a Two Year Extended Service Contract on most of our power products. Traditional manufacture’s warranties only cover replacement parts; they do not cover standard maintenance, service calls or labor charges associated with the completion of warranty repairs. Our new Extended Service Contract fills that void!
Liberty Wheels’ Two year Extended Service Contract provides for regularly scheduled maintenance, and covers expenses related to service calls, diagnostics, and labor charges on your new product for a full two years from the date of purchase.
Special Orders/Sales Orders
Any item not in our current inventory can be special ordered. Special order items are non-cancellable, non-refundable, and we require a signed agreement before we can order the item. We also require a 50% deposit at the time of order. Should the item be defective, Liberty Wheels will process the appropriate warranty as described by the manufacturer.
Returning a Non-defective Item
Non-defective products may be returned or exchanged for any reason within 7 days of purchase/delivery, but may subject to a restocking fee and/or pick up and shipping fees. Returned items must be in new, unused and resalable condition inside their original packaging and should include all contents as it was received including accessories, manuals, tools, parts, cords, etc. Incomplete returns may be declined or issued partial credits. Items not returned in original packaging or not in new, unused condition will be subject to additional fees or declined at our discretion.
Damaged or Defective Merchandise
If you receive an item that's damaged, defective or shipped in error, please contact us within 2 business days from the date of delivery at 267-765-1530 to arrange a free repair or replacement. Defective merchandise must be returned in the original packaging within 7 days. Please also include a written explanation of the damage or defect in order to expedite issuance of a replacement.
Exceptions and Limitations on Returns
We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on certain items because of their special nature, including:
- Bath and Safety Products
- Personal or Hygiene Products
- Cushions
- Batteries, Chargers or Electrical Components
- Used Equipment
- Special/custom orders
Certain products are custom-made by the manufacturer and are non-returnable. These include:
- Ultra-lightweight wheelchairs
- Sport wheelchairs
- Handcycles
- Any custom ordered product
There are no refunds or exchanges on any outbound freight, labor/installation charges, or delivery fees.
